Day 2: We made it to RENO!!

After 5 hours in the car, we made it to Reno!! We settled into our hotel, registered for Nationals, set up Trap's kennel, visited a gluten free bakery and had dinner with our agility friends. Tomorrow is a warm-up run in the morning and T2B (Time to Beat) in the afternoon.  Here are some pics!

Yes, more mountains :)

Meanwhile, Trapper uses the armrest as a chinrest

One of the many cool old buildings we saw on Hwy 50 "The Lonliest Road in America"

You know...

More mtns

We crossed many summits/mountain passes. Very interested, as they looked much like those in Colorado,
only about 3000-4000 ft lower.

Getting closer to Reno

One of several "shoe trees" we saw. What a strange thing...

Sand dunes a couple of hours from Reno

Volcanic rock used to make roadside messages on the salt-soaked soil

Add for a brothel (I was a little slow to snap the picture, but using an Uncle Sam female impersonator?
Not the classiest idea, but it is an ad for a brothel....

Mtns outside of Reno

Yep, super close now!
