Cooper's latest
Some Cooper highlights:
- Chewing on his hands a lot...the beginning of teething?
- Just started lifting his hips up...thinking about rolling over? (Thanks to Diana for noticing this one).
- Getting very impatient during burping--he wants to EAT! He's willing to smack you with his head or scratch your neck to get you to stop trying to burp him and feed him instead.
- Slept 5 1/2 hours last night (!) then ate and slept almost 4 more hours. Makes us dream of a full night's sleep :)
- Lots of smiles and giggles.
- Wrinkled up his nose while grinning--too cute!
That's all for now...stay tuned :)

Final homestudy visit!
Yesterday we had our final homestudy visit :) Now we just wait for the paperwork to go through court in Florida for everything to be final--hopefully sometime in April.
Cooper is happy about it, too!

An outing for Cooper

The world is coming into focus!
Cooper just discovered the little stuffed bears hanging above his porta-crib in the living room. SO cool to see him focusing and studying something!
Today he met his caregiver, our friend Diana. We are so, so, so thankful that he will be staying with such a kind, loving lady. I know he will be well loved and will soon be delighted to see her in the mornings. :)
Next week it's back to work. Bittersweet. But, luckily I love my job and my boss and co-workers are all wonderful. It will be hard I'm certain, but it will be all good. It always is! Maybe I'll even go a whole day w/o formula on my clothes. :)
Feeling so blessed,
Kirsta

A curl has been spotted!
Yesterday we saw the first little curl on Cooper's head. This morning I see a few more. Maybe a curly-headed boy??
Cooper is getting stronger and more inquisitive every day. He holds his head up a lot when we're burping him and he is becoming more and more aware of the world around him. He's sleeping 3 to 4 1/2 hours at a time at night, which is good progress! His "talking" is getting more animated, too, which is fun :)

Doc appt
All went well at the doctor's appt--little man is up to 10 lbs 6 oz and is 23 in long! YAY!! He got shots, so we've started the Tylenol. Next visit in 2 months, and I told the doc we'd trying to "be boring" until then :)
