Day 3: The day of visitors!

Our morning photo together
Look who stopped by to see Cooper!!
Big brother came by--what a nice surprise!
And Chi-Chi!
Big brother helping out
Cooper feeling a little loopy from the painkiller
Preparing for bubbles
Wow! Bubbles!
The next visitor, all the way from North Dakota--Tio Eric!
Silly Tio!
:)
Tio Eric helped Santa!
Taking a break

Ms Carol came to visit!! :)
More resting--and a big step--Cooper rolled onto his tummy to sleep. This is is favorite way to sleep, and
this was the first time since coming to the hospital that he did it :)
Play time with Dad

Happy baby!

Ms Patti came and brought Cooper's new favorite toy--now he
has his own remote!! Thanks Zietlow Family!!

The last visitors were the Peyton Firefighters who brought Cooper
a gift and let him try on their helmet!

Wow! What a day!! Cooper also had one of his IV ports taken out--it's progress!! Hopefully Coop will get some more tubes out tomorrow! Right now he has an IV, catheter, epidural, pulse/ox and NG tube...

Let's hope for a great night of sleep for all. The doctor said that we may get to go home on Sunday or Monday...fingers crossed :)

Good morning, Day 3!

As per my post below, Cooper slept great last night--here he is this morning after I arrived:

Day 2 pictures

Cooper resting after getting his 2nd catheter put in :(
Finally! He rests...
Partially dressed so he can't scratch his incision

My shout-out for Go Picnic Gluten Free lunches--I literally sat in the chair holding Cooper for 3 1/2 hours and couldn't move. Thanks to Go Picnic's lunch-in-a-box, I could eat and not pass out while holding Cooper :)
More sleeping baby
Cooper has discovered the red light on his pulse-oxygen monitor--fun stuff!!
Reading a book!

Playing with his favorite rattle-ball from home :)

Some more snooze time with Grandma

Holding the book

Hangin with Dad
Night-night!!

The end of Day 1 pictures: In our room

Big Brother came to visit
Take out dinner in the "family" room in the hospital. And apparently an advertisement for Pepsi ;-)
Tatum's Lego creation he made with Grandma

Sweet baby

Recovery room

After the 2 1/2 hour surgery, we got to go wait with Cooper while the anesthesia wore off.

Pre-op Pictures!

I'm starting at the beginning...we'll see how many pics I can get uploaded before Cooper wakes up :)

At home with big brother getting ready to head to the hospital
Playing in the waiting room
"Prepping" Dad's phone
NOT loving the cute little gown
Still not likin' it
Waiting to see the doctors for pre-op. This was a tough time because Coop
hadn't had anything to eat or drink for 7 1/2 hours. He wasn't too happy!
Grandma arrives!
Settled a little with Dad
Chillin' with Mom, waiting for the sedative to take effect
Happy baby, thanks to the sedative. He got pretty silly!
